Town Plan: Each group were given a piece of cardboard and nets for 12 houses. We had to incorporate a road and a cycle path, entering and leaving the site at a predetermined point, and place all 12 houses. Those were our only restrictions. After we completed our models and a scaled map for our area, they were all put together to create the town plan above. Groovy. :D
[From an educational point, the idea was linking geography, art, D&T, maths, literacy, history etc around a relatively simple project.]
Autumn Book: I don't have copies of all the pages of our book, which is a shame, as some were really good. We had a poem about a hedgehog, one about a boy falling into a swamp, another about the transition to winter etc. This one is about the changes that occur during autumn. I only took the picture because I drew and cut out all the leaves and thus spent a little while helping this page lol! :D[03.10.2011]
